Donald Duck In Hydro Frenzy

Goodboy’s first game for Disney and we went all out to make a time management game worthy of Donald Duck’s name!

I produced all the art assets for this one, with Mat Groves on code.

Using the art style of the new Mickey Mouse animated shorts as a guide, I set about fleshing out Hydro Frenzy’s world, starting by designing Donald’s “Quench and Drench” backpack. Once we had the thirst quenching and rage inducing mechanics sorted, I illustrated and animated Donald and all the customers based on those from the show. I also painted the environment to suit our gameplay and 3D WebGL engine.

In addition to this all UI assets the Donald Duck logo were created by me.
