I can finally share some work from my time back in 2013 at Dlala studios on Tronics!

This was such an exciting and promising project to work on, a mobile game with a mix-and-match toys to life element, that will sadly never be released. I was the lead artist on this project, responsible for setting the style, directing art development by internal artists at Microsoft, external outsourcers, and studio partners; as well as creating game assets and assisting with physical product prototyping.

My concept above is for a supporting cast of characters that would act as the Tronic trainers and battlers. Followed by some early stage style development from when we were in the pitch phase. As the scope of the project became more ambitious, the production art style became something entirely different! I will be adding lot’s more awesome images very shortly!
